Join Irene and Devon Battaglia at their home in Harvard on Friday March 28 at 7:00 p.m. for an evening filled with specially themed classical guitar music curated by the artist.
All donations for this benefit event will support Fanfare, Harvard’s school music booster program. Suggested donation is $50 per person. RSVP by following the link above.
Dave’s curated program will feature well known greatest hits, and some innovative works for the classical guitar. You’ll hear music inspired by birds, some treats from pop music and the big screen, followed by important works by living women composers.
Dave’s Bio
Dave McLellan has performed in the U.S., South America, Great Britain, and Europe since 1976, including debut and chamber appearances in Jordan Hall, Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, and Wigmore Hall (London). Beginning in 1981, he lived a double life as a software engineer and concert guitarist with duo partner Neil Anderson. Having been raised by a pathological philanthropist, Mr. McLellan is committed to using music to change lives and help charitable causes. In 1998, he founded and continues to perform in Concert in Your Living Room, a service dedicated to helping non-profits raise funds. Dave is a well-known figure in the Harvard Public Schools, having volunteered for many years playing in the Bromfield Concert and Jazz Bands.
